Role Overview :
As a Video Editor at Digitally Inspired Media, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality video content for digital campaigns, branded content, social media, web series, and more. You will work closely with content creators, designers, and the production team to bring brand stories to life through motion.
Key Responsibilities :
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, compelling, and on-brand visual content.
- Create video deliverables for a variety of platforms including Instagram Reels, YouTube, Meta Ads, brand films, case studies, and product videos.
- Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and visual requirements.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance storytelling.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, file formats, durations).
- Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, social media content formats, and motion design.
- Ensure all video content meets quality standards and deadlines.
- Archive and manage video assets in an organized manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 2–4 years of experience as a video editor, preferably in a digital agency or production house.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant editing tools.
- Good sense of storytelling, timing, pacing, and music selection.
- Basic knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and animation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong attention to detail and passion for visual aesthetics.
- Portfolio/showreel demonstrating versatility and creative video work is a must.
Bonus Skills (Good to Have) :
- Experience with motion graphics and animation (using After Effects or similar tools).
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro.
- Knowledge of camera work or production processes.
- Experience editing regional-language content or multilingual videos.
