Digital Art Director

Job Description :

  • Refine the digital creative production process.
  • Understand and interpret brand, user, and business needs, in order to develop innovative, creative, and results-oriented digital solutions.
  • Partner with Copywriters, Designers and Technology team members to ensure design follows best practices, optimizes messaging, and is technically feasible.
  • Brainstorm big ideas in a group setting and express your opinion.
  • Create concepts, mood boards, visual design comps, and other design deliverables to promote and sell your work.
  • Ensure design consistency and quality across multiple digital channels.
  • Assist and support Graphic designers/Visualizers in the execution and management of digital brand standards and style guides.
  • Maintain relevancy in the field by monitoring digital trends, attending workshops, and joining professional groups.

Knowledge / Skills required : 

  • 3-5 years of visual design experience in a collaborative environment (digital or advertising agency experience preferred).
  • Strong, smart and a spectacular portfolio demonstrating an expertise in concept and design and visual hierarchy across a variety of digital landscapes (websites, responsive design, mobile apps, web applications, digital media, email campaigns, print ads, corporate identity, OOH etc.).
  • Strong storyboard skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of ecommerce best practices.
  • Outstanding skills in Interaction Architecture, typography, animation, style guide creation, video production.
  • Passion for interaction design, touch screen design, and mobile platforms.
  • Strong understanding of HTML, HTML5, CSS, and Flash.
  • Bachelor of Fine Arts or Interaction design degree or Visual communication in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to work within brand guidelines to create compelling visual solutions.
  • Proficient with a wide range of design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite; expert in Photoshop/Illustrator.
  • Understanding of capabilities and limitations of front end technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (you will not be expected to code).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be highly motivated, positive and a passionate team player.
